GenAI - Where To Next?
When I was asked to write a piece early this year about trends for 2024, I said that I thought it would be a year of consolidation for GenerativeAI, that it would being “stuffed” into everything we use, and that there would not be a “big bang” moment in relation to it.
I think I am still on track with that.
Having said, that there really is some mega-activity going on in the GenAI space through its many players in it.
I read an excellent piece in the Financial Times this week that summarises nicely where things are at.
I thought I would share it with you here

Declining Trends
I think we spend a lot of time tracking emerging new trends.
I certainly do.
Tracking emerging trends is vital, but recognising declining trends is equally important.
Here are a few I have noticed:

Trust in institutions
Our belief in privacy
