The Paul Ippolito Outlook Newsletter For Professionals

Welcome back after a month.

Well, actually, it was me that was gone, and not you as such.

A well-earned month off may I say, spent travelling.

I enjoy travelling – it resets me to what’s important, and the rest falls away.

It also connects me with people and places I wouldn’t typically encounter, an education in itself.

I’m back - well-fed, watered, caffeinated, travelled, and hopefully a bit more educated (as well as a tad tired, ironically).

As I said to a close friend this morning, the beauty of travel is largely retrospective.

I look forward to letting it all soak through as I settle back into my work.

Here is this month’s edition of the newsletter.

Enjoy it, and feel free to share it.

What I Am Watching

I don’t mind a spy thriller, and the series Slow Horses with Gary Oldman and Kristen Scott Thomas and a stellar cast is just a cracker.

It is about a dumping ground for intelligence agents who have stuffed up in some way, are deemed slow and incapable, and are sidelined and put to “work” out of the way.

I especially like watching the modern workplace dynamics behind the spy story-lines.
